Classic Team Lotus Festival

Having had a number of technical issues with his race car, Rob decided that the team should debut their new race car for the Classic Team Lotus Festival.

A week before the event the car was indeed being driven on the road and had no conversion works carried out.

With a great effort from both Team members Chris and Jason this enabled the car to pass scrutinering and although lacking almost 20 bhp Rob was still able to qualify 37th out of 48 runners.

After qualifying the Team had enough time to be able to put a basic set up onto the car and this enabled Rob in Race Two to climb upto 21st place before surcoming to electrical gremlins.

Rob will return to his normal race car for the World Touring Car Meeting at Brands Hatch in July and would hope to be challenging for overall honours.

In the meantime, now that Team RSA has a second race car available, they are seeking suitably funded drivers in order to join the Team.
